Around 85 delegates from National Accreditation Bodies and National Cybersecurity Certification Agencies participated at the online workshop on the EU Cybersecurity Act and the Implementing Regulation on the EU CC scheme and State-of-the-Art documents for accreditation, held on 20 June 2024.

At this workshop Ingrid Lauringson from the European Commission (DG CONNECT) informed about the EU Cybersecurity Certification Framework as set out in Regulation (EU) 2019/881 on ENISA (the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) and on information and communications technology cybersecurity certification and repealing Regulation (EU) No 526/2013 (Cybersecurity Act). She informed also about the future Cyber Resilience Act and its relation to the Cybersecurity Act.

Philippe Blot from the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) presented the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/482 on the European Common Criteria-based cybersecurity certification scheme (EUCC), which is the first scheme under the Cybersecurity Act, and the related State-of-the-Art documents on the accreditation of Certification Bodies and ITSEFs (laboratories). Once adopted under the EUCC scheme, the final version of two documents presented and discussed during the workshop will be available on the ENISA website dedicated to certification.

Finally, Rosalina Porres from the National Accreditation Body of Spain (ENAC) provided practical aspects and tips on implementing the EUCC State-of-the-Arts documents by National Accreditation Bodies.
