The EA Multilateral Agreement (MLA) Council has just confirmed the MLA signatory status of CAI, DAkkS and SAS in several accreditation scopes.

The EA Multilateral Agreement Council (MAC), which manages the peer-evaluation process and decides on MLA signatories, held its last meeting in Riga, Latvia, on 20 and 21 April 2016 when the following decisions have been unanimously made:

CAI, the Czech national accreditation body (NAB), remains an EA MLA signatory in the fields of calibration, testing under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189, inspection, verification, management systems certification, products certification and persons certification;

DAkkS, the German NAB, remains an EA MLA signatory in the fields of calibration, testing under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189, and inspection;

SAS, the Swiss NAB, remains an EA MLA signatory in the fields of calibration, testing under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189, inspection, management systems certification, products certification and persons certification.

The next re-evaluation visits to those NABs will take place in 4 years according to the original scheduled re-evaluation dates.
