Norman Brunner, Director of Akkreditierung Austria (AA), has just been nominated the next IAF MLA Committee Chair for the 3-year period 2016-2018.
Further to the EA Vice-Chair’s, Geir Samuelsen, being elected the next IAF Director Representing High-Income Economies (see our previous news), another EA person has been entrusted with an important position in IAF.
Because Steve Keeling, the current IAF MLA Committee Chair, will have served two full terms following the conclusion of the ILAC-IAF Joint Annual Meetings to be held in Milan on 28 October – 6 November 2015, a new Chair of the IAF MLA Committee was sought. The successful nomination of Norman Brunner will be confirmed during the November 2015 General Assembly Meeting in Milan. Consequently Norman Brunner will also become a member of the IAF Executive Committee during 2016-2018.
Norman Brunner has been the Director of Akkreditierung Austria, the Austrian national accreditation body based in the Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Economy in Vienna since 2012.
