Norwegian Accreditation (NA) have just got their new Director General in the person of Cecilie Laake.
The position was vacant since the previous Director General and EA Vice-Chair, Geir Samuelsen, left the Norwegian national accreditation body on 27 January 2017.
The Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries has appointed Inger Cecilie Laake as new Director General of Norwegian Accreditation. After more than 20-year experience in NA, Cecilie started her six-year term as DG on 15 March 2017.
“In the future, we shall work to improve our services nationally. Accredited organizations and users of accredited schemes deserve a modern and present accreditation body in Norway. It is still our job to ensure Norwegian industry easy market access, especially with our immediate neighbors in the EU and EEA”, says Cecilie who is also an active NA representative in the EA Horizontal Harmonisation Committee and Multilateral Agreement Council.
The whole EA community is congratulating Cecilie!
