Decision by the MAC for DPA and TUNAC

The EA Multilateral Agreement Council (EA MAC) is responsible for the effective and impartial management and monitoring of the peer evaluation process. It is responsible for the decisions on the EA MLA signatory status of National Accreditation Bodies and on results of peer evaluations to be taken for all signatories to the EA MLA.

The EA MAC considered the outcome of the re-evaluation of DPA (Albania) and the evaluation and re-evaluation of TUNAC (Tunisia), and decided as follows:

DPA, the National Accreditation Body of Albania, remains an EA MLA signatory in the fields of Testing (EN ISO/IEC 17025), Inspection (EN ISO/IEC 17020), Certification of Management Systems (EN ISO/IEC 17021-1), and Certification of Persons (EN ISO/IEC 17024).
The next full re-evaluation shall take place in February 2029 (considering the standard 4 years intervals from the initial evaluation).
The MAC Decision is valid from 15 May 2026.

TUNAC, the National Accreditation Body of Tunisia, remains an EA MLA signatory in the fields of Calibration (EN ISO/IEC 17025), Testing (EN ISO/IEC 17025) including Medical Examinations (EN ISO 15189), Inspection (EN ISO/IEC 17020), Certification of Management Systems (EN ISO/IEC 17021-1), Certification of Products (EN ISO/IEC 17065).
Furthermore, the EA MAC confirms that TUNAC complies with all relevant requirements and decides that TUNAC is recognized as an EA MLA signatory in the fields of Certification of Persons (EN ISO/IEC 17024) and Proficiency Testing Providers (EN ISO/IEC 17043).
The next full re-evaluation shall take place in March 2030 (considering the standard 4 years intervals from the initial evaluation).
The MAC Decision is valid from 22 May 2026.
