Maureen Logghe celebrated on the 9th of June the 30th anniversary of the Slovenian Accreditation system and World Accreditation Day 2025 in Slovenia with Bostjan Godec, director of Slovenska akreditacija, the Slovenian National Accreditation Body, with their Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs), assessors, key figures, employees, and colleagues from neighboring National Accreditation Bodies (ATCG (Montenegro), ATS (Serbia), BATA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), BELAC (Belgium), and HAA (Croatia)).

In her speech, the EA President declared:

“Citizens and businesses must be at the centre of development. Whether we speak of safety, innovation, or sustainability, accreditation must ultimately serve the well-being of individuals and the competitiveness of businesses.

Thirty years of building the accreditation system in Slovenia is a remarkable milestone, and I believe that much has been accomplished during this time.

It is essential that the Slovenian government continues to support Slovenska akreditacija, and that SA remains actively involved in EA in the years ahead. I would like to seize the opportunity to thank Bostjan Godec. His daily commitment over the many years he has been with SA did not stay unseen. He was also a key person within EA and over the years he became my good friend. Accreditation is not only about trust in results, but trust in people as well.”
